1. Agreement to These Terms
Welcome to GiftCardGate ("GiftCardGate," "the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and GiftCardGate. By creating an account, submitting a gift card, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Platform. We may revise these Terms from time to time; the updated version takes effect once posted, and your continued use means you accept the changes.
2. Who We Are & What We Do
GiftCardGate is an online service that buys unused gift cards and prepaid cards from registered users in exchange for cash, paid out via PayPal, USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20), Ethereum, Bitcoin, or other methods we support from time to time.
We are the buyer of your card — not a marketplace, auction site, or peer-to-peer exchange. We may accept or decline any submission at our sole discretion, including cards we cannot verify, cards with no remaining balance, or cards we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent.
3. Eligibility & Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to use GiftCardGate. By using the Platform you confirm that you meet these requirements.
One account per person. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, and you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering
- Keep your email, password, and payout details confidential and up to date
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Take full responsibility for all activity carried out under your login
4. Selling a Gift Card to Us
Each time you submit a card, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the lawful owner of the card and have the full right to sell it
- The card was not obtained through fraud, theft, or any unauthorized means
- The card has not been redeemed, reported stolen, or offered for sale anywhere else
- The code and any details or photos you provide are accurate and complete
Submitting a card is an offer to sell it to us — it does not guarantee acceptance. We verify every card before approving a payout.
5. Verification & Approval
Verification typically completes within 24 hours, though high-value or higher-risk submissions may take longer or require extra documentation. While a card is under review, its estimated value appears as a pending balance and cannot be withdrawn.
If a card fails verification — for example, it is expired, already redeemed, or invalid — no payout is made for that card and you will be notified of the reason.
6. Payouts, Wallet & Withdrawals
Once a card is approved, the confirmed amount is credited to your GiftCardGate wallet as available balance. The final amount may differ from the estimate if the card's actual balance differs from what was declared.
You can request a withdrawal of your available balance at any time. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, and the minimum withdrawal is $50.00 USD. We charge no withdrawal fee, but third-party providers (PayPal, blockchain networks, etc.) may apply their own network or transaction fees.
7. Rates & Pricing
Rates shown on the Platform are estimates and can change at any time without notice. The rate that applies to your sale is the one confirmed at the moment you submit the card. We may adjust rates based on market conditions, card type, or risk assessment.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use GiftCardGate to:
- Submit stolen, counterfeit, fraudulently obtained, or already-used gift cards
- Open multiple accounts to dodge limits, bans, or verification
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the Platform
- Engage in money laundering or any other illegal financial activity
- Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information
- Probe, reverse-engineer, or exploit our verification or pricing systems
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users or GiftCardGate staff
Breaking these rules can lead to immediate suspension, forfeiture of your wallet balance, and referral to the relevant authorities.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, and software on the Platform belong to GiftCardGate or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GiftCardGate is not liable for:
- Service interruptions, technical faults, or data loss
- Losses caused by delayed or failed verifications
- Changes in gift card values or exchange rates
- The acts or omissions of third-party payment providers
In no event will our total liability exceed the payout amount of the specific transaction that gave rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GiftCardGate, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your submission of fraudulent cards.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or close your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that breaches these Terms or harms other users, GiftCardGate, or third parties. On termination your right to use the Platform ends immediately, and any pending balance may be forfeited if the account was closed for fraud or a policy violation.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation; if that fails, the dispute will be settled by binding arbitration or before the competent courts located in Kansas, USA.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our service, technology, or legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be highlighted by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you by email or an on-site notice.
